A coalition of black churches has denounced a move by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People to endorse same-sex marriage.

The NAACP passed a resolution this weekend endorsing same-sex marriage as a civil right and opposing any efforts to “codify discrimination or hatred into the law.”

The action comes a week after President Barack Obama came out in support of gay marriage.

The NAACP’s board voted at a leadership retreat in Miami to back a resolution supporting marriage equality, “calling the position consistent with the equal protection provision of the U.S. Constitution.”

“The mission of the NAACP has always been to ensure political, social, and economic equality for all people,” Chairwoman Roslyn M. Brock said in a statement.

“Civil marriage is a civil right and a matter of civil law. The NAACP’s support for marriage quality is deeply rooted in the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution and equal protection of all people,” NAACP President Benjamin Jealous said.

Rev. Anthony Evans, with the National Black Church Initiative, opposed the president’s and the NAACP’s endorsements of same-sex marriage. He warned that Obama and the NAACP will lose support among black churches for their stand.

“We love our gay brothers and sisters, but the black church will never support gay marriage,” Evans said. “It is and always will be against the ethics and teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

The National Black Church Initiative is a faith-based coalition of 34,000 African American and Latino churches comprised of 15 denominations.

On May 10 the Congressional Black Caucus and Congressional Pro-Choice Caucus were honorary co-hosts of a wordy briefing entitled, “African Americans’ Attitudes on Abortion, Contraception, and Reproductive, Justice: From Public Opinion to Policymaking,” held at the U.S. Capitol.

On the agenda:

“numerous challenges to accessing quality, affordable reproductive health care… exacerbated by campaigns targeting the African American community”

“research on the latest attitudes and concerns of African Americans relating to reproductive justice”

“key messaging as a response to attacks and threats to reproductive rights”

Organizers were obviously alarmed by the inroads pro-lifers have made into the black community, hence the briefing.

What surprised me was how freely they disseminated their findings and thoughts, apparently not taking into consideration (can’t believe they didn’t care) that pro-lifers might also be interested in what they had to say.

Which they were. Out of the 75 or so attendees, at least four were pro-life infiltrators. RSVPs were requested but not mandatory. So our people just showed up.

Day Gardner, president of the power-packed National Black Pro-Life Union and pictured right, was one of those four.

Gardner came away from the briefing shocked.

“What I didn’t expect to hear was that they know the statistics,” Gardner told me in a phone interview. “They already know the abortion rate is very high in the black community. They just don’t care.”

Before the briefing Gardner had thought the key to persuading black political leaders to the pro-life position was educating them on the devastation of abortion in their community.

“But they already know the truth,” said Gardner. “They didn’t bat an eye. Their entire focus now is trying to get blacks who don’t think abortion is an issue to connect it to basic healthcare, because healthcare is a winning issue.”

Why don’t they care? Another black pro-lifer who attended the briefing explained, “What is clearly more important to African-American abortion advocates is their independence, their autonomy. That is their highest value. To them the freedom to live comes second to the freedom to ‘choose.’ What we think is important and what they think is important are completely different. African-Americans are very protective of their rights, and those who support abortion do so in large part because it is a ‘right.’”

The focus of 75% of the briefing, according to the pro-lifers, was the pro-life billboards that have been sprouting up in black neighborhoods around the country, which black abortion supporters abhor and believe are making a big impact.

The first speaker, Congresswoman Barbara Lee, pictured below left, said she was very upset not only by the billboard campaigns but also about the use of the term “genocide” to equate abortion with blacks.

Others throughout the briefing expressed the same concern, because “genocide” frightens blacks and may persuade them against abortion. Lee acknowledged the billboards have had a tremendous effect on women in the black community. They succeed in dividing blacks on the abortion issue, she admitted, and must, therefore, be shut down as soon as they go up.

Lee took credit for the removal of billboards in her California community, which isn’t true. The billboards ran the course of their contract. She said she, herself, called the billboard company.

Lee said to maintain a focus on healthcare, on saying black woman should be trusted to do what they want with their bodies, and to equating denial of contraceptives and abortion with denial of insurance and food.

Organizers distributed a timeline of the billboard campaigns as well as a dossier of the people behind them. These included:

Ryan and Bethany Bomberger of The Radiance Foundation, creators of the first of many impactful billboards, “Black Children are an Endangered Species”

Maafa 21 creator Mark Crutcher

Catherine Davis of Abortion in the Hood, creator of the “Betrayed” billboard campaign

Brian Follett of Heroic Media, creator of “The Most Dangerous Place in America” and “Every 21 Minutes…” billboard campaigns

Alveda King, niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., with Priests for Life

Walter Hoye of the Issues4LifeFoundation, sponsor of the “Black&Beautiful” billboard campaign

Organizers were incensed by the “Every 21 Minutes” billboard, saying it insulted the president…

Belle Taylor-McGhee, Communications Chair of the Trust Black Women Partnership and pictured right, discussed how to defeat the Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act.

PRENDA is intended to ban abortions on the basis of gender or race. How could blacks oppose it?

Yet Taylor-McGhee maintained this is simply an attempt to shame black women and the Obama administration.

Nancy Beldon, a partner at Belden Russonello Strategists. Beldon handed out “five key points” to oppose billboard campaigns, how to respond to pro-life messaging.

Again, I was quite surprised at the information organizers so freely distributed. A lot of it was inside baseball intel they should not have wanted to get into the hands of pro-lifers. It only helps us know where we are meeting success and how to buffer their attacks.

Belden, pictured left, said it will be necessary to make sure polling generates the answers they need. She bragged she can make polls say what she wants them to say, that it’s all about asking the right questions, in the right sequence, with certain phrasing.

Belden said it is critical to keep the subject on healthcare, not babies.

She said abortion proponents must also accept the fact that many blacks believe there should be some restrictions on abortion. So, “you move them off the circumstances, which you know are going to lose,” she said. She said to move the conversation to reminding people we can’t possibly know all the health reasons and issues going into a decision to abort.

Belden’s group also studied religion as it pertains to African-Americans and abortion. She said blacks are more religious as a group than the general American population. And generally speaking, the more religious people are, the more likely they will oppose abortion. But in her polling she learned abortion isn’t as polarizing in the religious black community than white. “They adopt a religious explanation or idea that fits their preconceived attitude on abortion…. God gave me free will,” said Belden.

The four-part generalized message to defend abortion:

Frame the issue as the need for quality healthcare and education in the black community.

Cite disparities with healthcare and education between the cultures.

Call for an end to the disparities.

Express the value of self-determination.

To specifically battle “genocide awareness” billboard campaigns:

Turn “genocide” around: The killing and endangering of our people is really happening by way of substandard healthcare and lack of good education. That’s really the problem.

Cite historical disparities.

Call for an end to the disparities.

Try to switch topics to violence in communities – Trayvon Martin – lack of food, etc. (“What are you doing to help the children already here?”)

A pro-lifer audiotaped the last 20 minutes of the briefing, mostly Belden.

Takeaways:

1. The pro-life community needs to more heavily invest in billboard campaigns in black communities. Donate today to one or more of the organizations listed on the dossier above, or to the NBPLU.

2. Focusing on the babies, that abortion is calculated genocide of the black community, and that most abortions are committed for reasons of convenience are winning issues.

3. Encourage black pastors to preach more strongly against abortion.

4. A fitting verse comes to mind: “The arrogant godless try to throw me off track,” Psalm 119:85. But we won’t let them.

WAKE-UP BLACK AMERICA: YOU HAVE BEEN BETRAYED

An Open Letter From The Frederick Douglass Foundation to the POTUS, NAACP, Members of the Congressional Black Caucus, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Margaret Sangers Negro Leaders

It is sad that in today’s society, our first black president isn’t willing to answer his critics himself and needs liberal groups to smear any detractors as racist. The NAACP has used this cultural extortion to embarrass the Black community, betray its’ membership and shame the Reverend Franklin Graham into apologizing for not being able to whole-heatedly admit that he believes that President Obama is a true Christian without feeling like he’s lying. By the NAACP’s assumption that this is a racial issue, it seems that they’re claiming that the rules of God for a black man are different than those for a white man.

We, at the Frederick Douglass Foundation, condemn the NAACP’s recent passing of the resolution in support of marriage equality and the attack on Rev. Franklin Graham, because we understand his seeming unwillingness to proclaim and honor President Obama’s Christian devoutness. We all need to look at ourselves in the mirror in the morning. Pretending he believes that President Obama is truly devout in his worship of the Christian God would likely make the Reverend feel like he’s being forced to sacrifice his credibility in order to fulfill some politically correct dictate. It seems that the NAACP thinks that questioning President Obama is the same as hating him for being black. And that’s a shame.

The existence of the black man’s equality rests upon his believing that he must live by the same rules as the white man. Instead, demanding that the white man treat the black man with unquestionable delicacy while at the same time treating the white man as if he were guilty of racial animosity without proof is a sure way to violate the agreement society has come to in regards to equality.

So, in standing with Rev. Franklin Graham, here are some things about President Obama that make us question his Christian sincerity. Please note, we, like Rev. Graham, are not questioning his salvation. Only God can judge that. We are only pointing out that President Obama’s actions do not necessarily match his words.

As a State Senator in Illinois, then Senator Obama voted against the state’s Born Alive Infant Protection Act. This was a law that said that infants who survive abortions should be given medical attention. In the state Senate Debate on April 4, 2002, Senator Obama said:

“As I understand it, this puts the burden on the attending physician who has determined, since they were performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus; that if that fetus, or child — however way you want to describe it — is now outside the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that it’s nonviable but there’s, let’s say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just coming out limp and dead, that, in fact, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved. Is that correct?” http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/225404/why-obama-really-voted-infanticide/andrew-c-mccarthy?pg=2

A similar bill passed the US Senate before President Obama was there by a vote of 98-0. Not even NARAL opposed it.

When a baby decides he or she doesn’t want to go out like this in the abortionist’s office, Senator Obama voted to allow it to die alone in a cold metal cupboard. He was concerned that the mother and abortion “doctor” would be burdened with having to make a life or death decision that might conflict with the mother’s previous decision to kill her unborn baby, or “fetus” as he likes to call it. This is infanticide. The Christian God commands: “Thou Shalt not murder.” Murder by neglect is still murder, and Senator Obama voted for murder by neglect. These are not the sentiments of a devout Christian.

In the NAACP’s open letter to Rev. Graham, you write: “We are appalled then and now by the venomous insinuation that a sitting Democratic President who cares deeply ‘for the least of these’ is Christian in name only.” With his recent statements declaring his personal support for same sex marriage, words and actions in support of the Anti-Life agenda, how in any way does President Obama seem as though he does indeed care at all “for the least of these, i.e. unborn child?”

Regarding his Obamacare mandates that all insurance plans cover birth control, sterility and abortifacient drugs, President Obama again shows his disdain for Christians. This has much more to do with religious freedoms than the media suggests. They seem to focus on the forcing of Catholics to pay for insurance plans that cover birth control, but what about sterility and abortifacient drugs? These two mandates offend Christians of all denominations. God said that we should be fruitful and multiply. He didn’t say get sterile, have no kids and rely on the socialist welfare state as you near death.

As well, abortifacient drugs are just another method of abortion. Incidentally, if you watch Maafa 21, you’ll learn that the company that makes the RU-486 morning-after pill also made the Zyklon-B gas that the Nazi’s used in the gas chambers during the genocide of World War II. That company is Hoechst AG. President Obama assures us this is for the health of women. A devout Christian knows that killing babies within the first 63 days of conception has nothing to do with the health of women.

Furthermore, if one doesn’t want to pay for an insurance plan that covers the abortion pill, one will have to go without insurance. And if one goes without insurance, one will be fined by the government- the same government that mandates that we pay for insurance policies that cover the abortion pill. These fines will then be used to fund the insurance of poor folks who can’t afford a policy, including the coverage of the abortion pills for these folks. Knowing this, if one decides that his conscience will not allow him to pay this fine, this individual can be put in jail. President Obama is essentially making us all pay for abortion- even it violates our conscience- or go to jail. This is dictatorial and demonic. It is not something a devout Christian would do. It also isn’t something that one, who respects the Constitution enough to have read the First Amendment, would do either.

So if the Rev. Franklin Graham said that he believed that President Obama was a devout Christian, it would be just as much a lie as when President Obama says that he’s against gay marriage. He says one thing, but does another. He has instructed his Justice Department not to defend the President Clinton-signed Defense of Marriage Act in Court because he contends it’s unconstitutional.

If defending marriage, an institution created by God in Genesis, is unconstitutional, then President Obama should just declare himself god. Marriage existed with a God-given meaning before our Constitution was written and before the United States even existed. When a man of government takes it upon himself to wink-wink his way through the nation-wide redefinition of marriage, he is a man who spits in the general direction of God. If marriage has a meaning that can be redefined by the whims of man, then marriage has no meaning at all. A devout Christian would understand that.

It is not necessarily racist to be hesitant to proclaim that a black man is a devout Christian when that man’s actions suggest a severe disdain for those who are devout. The NAACP should be better than this. They refused to speak up for President Bush when liberals were doing plays about his assassination. They refused to stick up for him when the daughter of James Byrd said: “So when Governor George W. Bush refused to support hate-crime legislation, it was like my father was killed all over again.” The NAACP actually ran that ad with her voice. Nonetheless, hate-crimes legislation wasn’t needed to get James Byrd the ultimate penalty. On September 21, 2011, white supremacist Lawrence Russell Brewer was executed by the state of Texas.

Did the NAACP apologize to President Bush for accusing him of racist motives and of dropping the ball? The only reason the execution took so long was that there were a bunch of liberal lawyers out there trying to keep him alive. Additional hate-crimes legislation would have done nothing to speed up his execution. The legislation would instead simply perpetuate the premise that the black man isn’t equal by writing the inequalities into law.

Since President Obama refuses to answer to his critics personally and since his teleprompter doesn’t seem to care what we think, we, at the Frederick Douglass Foundation, invite the NAACP to answer our concerns on his behalf. The members of the NAACP seem adept at wielding the Living Word of God in defense of the first black president. Please feel free to try and justify your position or the President’s positions above. Forcing the Rev. Graham to lie by vouching for the supposed devoutness of a man with an apparent demonic coldness towards all that is Christian, simply because it is a white man and a black man, is not the way to achieve racial equality in society. Until a white man can judge a black man by “the content of his character” without it automatically being a racial issue, there is no equality.

Memphis, TN (PRWEB) May 15, 2012

A coalition of well-known and highly respected Black clergy headed by the Reverend William Owens, founder and president of the Coalition of African American Pastors (CAAP) and other leaders responded strongly to President Obama’s declaration of support for same-sex marriage. Reverend Owens led in the civil rights movement in Nashville, Tennessee and said he is appalled by the ongoing effort by GLBT activists to link sexual diversity to the historic fight for civil rights for Black Americans.

The leaders issue the following joint statement:

“We cannot and will not remain silent while marriage, the most fundamental institution in our and any nation, is undermined by our own President while using Christian language and relating it to civil rights. We stood, marched and fought against racial discrimination as legally and morally evil. It is a violation of the first principles of our faith that God created all men in His image, and the first principles of our nation that recognized that all men are created equal. For activists, politicians and now the highest office in the nation to link sexual behavior God calls sin to the righteous cause Martin Luther King gave his life for is abominable in and of itself. There is no civil right to do what God calls wrong.

“Marriage between one man and one woman was created and ordained by God, is the only stable union in which women are protected and cared for, in which children are born, reared and nurtured in safety, and upon which the very stability of our society rests. The propaganda spun by moral anarchists who have taught our youth that sex is for entertainment and marital commitment is optional has brought death, chaos, poverty and great harm to our community for decades.

“The hijacking of the civil rights movement by homosexuals, bisexuals and gender-confused people is unacceptable. There is no legitimate comparison between skin color and sexual behavior. In addition, the high cost of achieving racial parity by ours and previous generations demands that we speak out against President Obama’s support for this destructive agenda. Our God requires it, our nation needs it and our people deserve it.

“We will stand in our pulpits, stand in the streets, stand in the chambers of policymaking and stand at the ballot box for those who are for God’s design of marriage and family. We, like Martin Luther in his crucible hour, can only say, ‘Here we stand, we can do no other.’ This fight for marriage, family and the very existence of a moral order has just begun.”

The coalition includes such noted leaders as:

Bishop George D. McKinney, Jurisdictional Prelate of Southern California Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction and General Board Member of the Church of God in Christ; senior pastor of St. Stephens Cathedral in San Diego, CA

Bishop Felton Smith, Prelate of the Tennessee Eastern First Jurisdiction and Senior Pastor of New Covenant Fellowship Church of God in Christ in Nashville, TN. He also serves as Episcopal Coordinator on the Board of Bishops for the Church of God in Christ.

Bishop Brandon B Porter, Prelate of the Tennessee Central Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ and Senior Pastor of Greater Community Temple, Memphis, TN

Bishop Ed Stephens, Jr., Senior Pastor of Golden Gate Cathedral, Memphis TN

Bishop James H. Gaylord, Prelate of the 1st Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Eastern New York and Senior Pastor of Kelly Temple Church of God in Christ, Harlem, NY

Dr. Dwight Montgomery, Pastor of Annesdale Cherokee Baptist Church, Memphis, and President of the SCLC (Memphis Chapter)

Dr. Chuck Singleton, Senior Pastor of Loveland Church, Ontario, CA

Bishop Robert Jefferson, Senior Pastor of Cullen Missionary Baptist Church, Houston, TX

Bishop Janice Hollis, Presiding Prelate of the Covenant International Fellowship of Churches, Memphis, TN

Rev. William Owens, Sr., Founder and President, Coalition of African American Pastors, Memphis, TN

Bishop David Allen Hall, D.M., Jurisdictional Prelate of the 1st Ecclesiastical Headquarters Jurisdiction of Tennessee and the Senior Pastor of Temple Church of God in Christ, Memphis, TN

Bishop Charles Rodgers, Senior Pastor, New Dimensions Ministries, Memphis, TN

Superintendent Pastor Jerry Taylor, Senior Pastor, Holy City COGIC, Memphis, TN

Pastor H.O. Kneeland, Pastor Union Valley Baptist Church, Memphis, TN

Pastor Robert Bowers, Pastor True Faith Baptist Church, Memphis, TN

Associate Pastor Ivory Jackson, Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, Memphis, TN

Elder Robert Morris, Acting Minister of New Jerusalem COGIC, Memphis, TN

The coalition statement is a project of Coalition of African American Pastors based in Memphis, Tennessee

Margaret Sanger, the found of the precursor to Planned Parenthood, conceived and implemented The Negro Project. And what was The Negro Project? It was a program to enlist the aid of articulate African Americans with engaging personalities to talk with black preachers and urge them to promote birth control and abortion in the black community. Why? Because Sanger believed that blacks and other minorities were inferior to white people with ancestry from northern Europe. Here is an excerpt of a letter written by Margaret Sanger to Dr. Clarence Gamble in 1939:

“[We propose to] hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. And we do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

Now, we have an articulate, African-American as president with an engaging personality: Barack Obama. One of his main priorities is overturning federal and state laws that restrict abortion through the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA).

The Negro Project was developed by birth control reformers, who consulted with African-Americans for help. It was widely supported by such black leaders as Mary McLeod Bethune, W. E. B. DuBois, and Rev. Adam Clayton Powell, Jr.

Joseph Haynes Rainey, one of the first American Black US Representatives from South Carolina said, “We intend to continue to vote so long as the government gives us the right and necessary protection; and I know that right accorded to us now will never be withheld in the future if left to the Republican Party.”

Make plans now to come to the FINAL PUSH Heartbeat Rally to be held THIS SATURDAY in downtown Columbus on the west (High Street) side of the Ohio Statehouse. Download a flier here.

We will be calling for the Senate to bring the Heartbeat Bill to a floor vote immediately. We fully expect Governor Kasich to sign the bill and the courts to ultimately uphold it, so when the Senate votes, the killing stops! It certainly cannot stop without their vote.

Several groups and individuals will lead us in prayer and worship from 8 a.m. until Noon, including Rick Heil from Sonicflood, who has written a song specifically for Saturday’s event.

Then, from Noon to 2 p.m., we expect to hear from Bill McCartney, the founder of Promise Keepers, and Mike Gottfried, a former coach for the University of Cincinnati and commentator for ESPN.

Other speakers include Heartbeat Bill sponsor

Rep. Lynn Wachtmann,

Father Joseph Klee,

Pastor Corey Shankleton,

Anna Rae from Columbus radio station WRFD,

We also need to continue ringing the phones of the Senators throughout this week. Urge them to: “Give us a floor vote on the Heartbeat Bill – without weakening amendments.”

Senate President Tom Niehaus 614-466-8082

Senator Shannon Jones 614-466-9737

Your own State Senator – find by zip code here

Don’t buy the Senators’ excuse that we should abandon the Heartbeat Bill because the court “might” find it “unconstitutional.” Nearly every pro-life law on the books in Ohio was first challenged in court, including our ban on Partial Birth Abortion. Make your 3 calls today and get pro-life friends across the state to call too.

If they tell you “it’s not moving,” DON’T BE DISCOURAGED. Remember, they work for us, and we need them to keep their pro-life promises to END abortion, not just regulate it! Remember, it was our calls in the House that brought it to the floor last June.

Thanks for your help!

“But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire and like launderers’ soap. 3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness.” Malachi 3:2,3

The hour is much later than we have fully realized. The righteous judgments of God have come upon our nation because of sexual immorality and the innocent bloodshed of 54 Million aborted babies. Amidst the rise of immorality and inner city violence, the influential sounds and lyrics of Hip-Hop music are fueling promiscuous lifestyles and a culture of death. A generation of young adults, who once sought spiritual direction and truth from elders of the Church and praying grandmothers, are now pursuing the doctrines of demons through false religions, occult activities, and street families. Our silence has become our guilt, effectively allowing a whole generation to reject the commandment, “thou shalt not kill”. What would it look like if God were to send forth the full measure of His ruling for all of the sins associated with the bloodshed of 38 Million aborted African American babies? Our nation now stands poised to receive the justice of God.

But when an imminent increase in judgment looms over a nation, mercy too can also be sought for a generation. Even if God has to go to the caves, He will always set apart individuals for Himself, who will intercede and contend for justice, truth and revival. We are in a Malachi 4:6 moment in history in the black community akin to the day the prophet Malachi spoke of “… I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.6 And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” God is looking for a generation of African American leaders whose hearts would come into agreement with His to see the rebellion and bloodshed ended. And when He doesn’t find covenant in one generation, he goes to another.

We believe there is a new priesthood and company of messengers God is raising up. They’re a band of nameless, faceless singing prophets, dancers and musicians- leaders who have not kissed the face of Jezebel nor offered sacrifices to Baal. They will lift their voices up on behalf of the unborn to trumpet the message of life, love and justice and contend for the ending of the shedding of innocent blood. Join us Tuesday May 22, 2012 as we RUMBLE for awakening, revival and life in the black community.

Is anything worth more than your soul” (Mark 8:36-37 NLT)

By Timothy F. Johnson, Ph.D.

WASHINGTON, DC. The Frederick Douglass Foundation has set on the sidelines long enough! The President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, must be held accountable for his lack of leadership in a number of areas to include his recent comments supporting same sex marriage and his demise of traditional families comprised of one woman and one man in the United States.

This man has repeatedly done and said things that no other person would have been permitted to get away with, yet he continues to recklessly lead our nation carelessly and with total disregard for our Judea-Christian beginnings, American exceptionalism, traditions, customs, principles and priorities.

While there are a number of issues, I believe would be suitable for this blog entry, I will be limiting my entries to three: his support for same sex marriage, his pro-choice agenda and his contribution to Black Genocide in the 21st century

Let us take just a few minutes to review his words spoken in 2008 while being interview by Pastor Rick Warren of Saddleback Church in California.

In this video, it is apparent the POTUS clearly centered his position on the issue of marriage around his faith as a Christian, remember?

Four years later, the same person says in his own words that he has evolved and now believes same sex marriage is about fairness. Note that his faith, as a Christian, is not mentioned in his reasoning for supporting same sex marriage but instead on the people he has come in contact with and his discussions at the dinner table with his daughters.

People of color have made it clear where they stand on this issue across the country

Joining 30 other states, last Tuesday black voters in NC supported a ban on gay marriage by 2 to 1. This supports polling numbers which consistently show that blacks reject gay marriage by 55 to 42%.

How many homosexuals are with actually talking about, anyhow?

As for gays, 20% of Democrat campaign bundlers (money people) are gay. That money has been sitting on the sidelines waiting for an excuse. But let’s be honest, he had those voters in his pocket anyway.

Perhaps what is even more alarming is the fact that the gay community makes up such a small percentage within our society. Gary Gates is demographer-in-residence at the Williams Institute on Sexual Orientation Law and Public Policy, a think tank based at the University of California, Los Angeles. Gates’ best estimate, derived from five studies that have asked subjects about their sexual orientation, is that the nation has about 4 million adults who identify as being gay or lesbian, representing 1.7 percent of the 18-and-over population as of April 2011.

Still think he just evolved into supporting same sex marriage?

President Obama declares June LGBT Month: In 2009 a presidential proclamation on the White House website, Barack Obama lauded what he called “the determination and dedication” of the LGBT movement by proclaiming June as “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.”

”The LGBT rights movement has achieved great progress,” Obama states in the official proclamation, “but there is more to be done. LGBT youth should feel safe to learn without the fear of harassment, and LGBT families and seniors should be allowed to live their lives with dignity and respect.”.. 2009, 2010, 2011

Repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell: In December 2010, the Senate followed the House in voting to repeal the policy known as don’t ask, don’t tell, sending the provision to President Obama, who signed it into law on Dec. 22. Since 1993, the policy had allowed gays to serve in the military so long as they kept their sexual orientation quiet.

Stop Defending the Defense of Marriage Act: On February 23, 2011, in a unilateral decision and without Congressional approval, President Obama, determined that the Defense of Marriage Act — the 1996 law that bars federal recognition of same-sex marriages — was unconstitutional, and directed the Justice Department to stop defending the law in court. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. announced the decision in a letter to members of Congress.

Definitely Not Pro-Life

If you believe President Obama is pro-life than you have had your head stuck in the sand and perhaps there is little hope even for you. This man has always admitted that he was in support of killing innocent unborn children in the name of women’s health. While there are many who claim there are justifiable reasons for killing the unborn, I can’t think of a good one!

“For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear” (2 Timothy 4:3 NLT)

During this commercial originally produced for Planned Parenthood, President Obama said he is working hard to protect women’s health and that women are not an interest group. I agree with him. But if he truly believed this, why did his campaign decide to campaign directly to women via the “Life of Julia?” This clearly demonstrates that he likes to say one thing and do something completely the opposite. Why would anyone continue supporting this man?

President Obama Supports Black Genocide in the 21st Century

I couldn’t have said it better. The proof is there. Now what are you going to do with it?

Finally, I would like to remind you what Van Jones said a month ago, “Even If ‘Obama Came Out As Gay’ He Would Not Lose Black Vote”

Recorded April 3, 2012 while appearing on MSNBC’s Now with Alex Wagner, former White House adviser Van Jones said that embracing gay marriage, or even being gay himself, would not lose President Obama any support among African Americans.

“If you talk about black voters versus progressive voters – the idea of driving a wedge – do you think that Obama would lose some of the black vote if, in fact, he did come out in support of gay marriage,” Wagner asked Jones.

“I think if President Obama came out as gay he wouldn’t – President Obama is not going to lose the black vote no matter what he does,” responded Jones without hesitation to laughs from his fellow panelists.

“I don’t understand this particular strategy,” Jones continued. “Certainly, our numbers are a little bit more – because we’re more religious as a community – a little bit softer on some of this stuff, but it’s not a hardcore issue for that many African Americans.”

“You can play to that sentiment, but I don’t think it shows up at the ballot box at all,” Jones concluded.

With support among Americans increasing for gay marriage rights some like prominent Democrats, like Massachusetts Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren, are advocating that Democrats make gay marriage part of their party’s 2012 platform.

For Christians, this is the most important election in our lives

Your Christian faith calls for you to take specific actions now that you know better. Starting with prayer for the President’s soul as well as your own, repent for yourself and the President, ask for deliverance from the demonic spirits of this world to include accepting same sex union and abortion as something acceptable to the will of Jesus Christ and finally ask for full restoration so that your judgement will not be any harsh.

Richard Harbus for New York Daily News

The Rev. Michel Faulkner, head of the New Horizon Church of New York in Harlem, is leading the charge to open pro-life pregnancy centers in Queens because of the high rate of abortions there.

A group of clergy and anti-abortion activists from across the city are planning to open up pro-life centers in neighborhoods with high rates of abortions.

The Leadership Coalition is slated to open the New Beginnings Center of Hope in Jamaica, Queens, by the end of the year. It will offer counseling, testing for sexually transmitted diseases and adoption referrals.

The group plans to open a similar pregnancy support center in Harlem in 2013.

“What we want to say is, ‘Hey, when you’re faced with this decision, call us. We can give you a full range of options,’” said the Rev. Michel Faulkner, head of the New Horizon Church in Harlem. And “the option of abortion is still on the table.”

The group discussed the centers at its meeting last month, said Faulkner, a former Jets lineman.

He cited data from the Chiaroscuro Foundation, a group that funds pro-life and religious freedom projects, that suggests there were more abortions than live births in some southeast Queens and upper Manhattan ZIP codes.

Low-income neighborhoods with large minority populations were prone to have high abortion rates, according to the group.

“The rate of abortion is extremely high in New York City,” said the foundation’s executive director, Greg Pfundstein.

The Leadership Coalition isn’t the only group planning to open pro-life centers in Queens.

Expectant Mother Care-EMC FrontLine Pregnancy Centers is slated two open two facilities this summer, one in Long Island City and one in Richmond Hill. The Christian pro-life group already has a center in Jackson Heights as well as one on the upper East Side.

EMC President Chris Slattery said he believes “expansion is necessary throughout the city” to compete with abortion providers promoting themselves heavily.

His group regularly pickets outside of Jamaica’s newest abortion provider, Choices Women’s Medical Center. The facility also provides gynecological, counseling and pre-natal services.

Choices CEO Merle Hoffman, a pioneering abortion-rights advocate, said pro-life centers typically don’t provide women with a clear sense of all of their options — and will scare women thinking of terminating their pregnancies.

She also pointed out that the counselors at the centers aren’t always licensed social workers.

“It’s misrepresentative advertising because they call themselves crisis pregnancy counseling to discuss options,” Hoffman said. “And then the option of abortion is not discussed either realistically or as an option.”
